      - rude/amazingly stupid customers every one time in a while - inconsistency among management (meaning ane manager will tell the states to practise a task one way, while another manager disagrees and thinks we should do it another mode, and you don't want to brand them mad, so you need to brand sure to always practise the right way when those managers are around, and god forbid yous make them mad) - needing to do your every day tasks (such as keep rail of orders and help customers) on top of having to do your computer training for the week and for each twenty-four hours, which takes time - getting scolded when you lot don't recognize people stealing or being deceitful when information technology is genuinely hard to tell most of the time who is lying - you lot get scolded past certain managers and/or coworkers for not knowing certain things even though you were never taught those things

      I really enjoyed the fact that after x years I had 3 weeks vacation and iv floating holidays and we got paid to be off on Christmas and Thanksgiving. In one case I establish out that there was a possibility that commitment would go tertiary political party, the drivers would be laid off with a severance reflecting years employed, why would I leave. Plus nosotros got a raise every twelvemonth. Even those that didn't deserve it. And i I hit my wage cap, I still got a 1% bonus of my base salary, at least it'south something.

      Later nearly 12 years of being a flatbed delivery driver, the box trucks went third political party. I was told the flat bed was prophylactic and I still had a chore. A month and a half after I get told apartment bed is going third political party in a less than a calendar month and I had 2 options. Accept a position in the store with a severe cut in pay, nearly half a pay cut, or resign with a 2 week severance. Lowes offeres a severance of 1 week per year working there for eligible employees. Nonetheless if you are offered a different position whether you have it or not and whether it is comparable or not, you are ineligible for the full severance. Way to go Lowe's.

      Having to stand on a cement floor all mean solar day hurts the anxiety and the back. You can't stand on your foot pad unless yous have a customer considering yous are required to stand up out front past the alley. Same goes for self-checkout. In cocky-cheque out yous're not allowed to stand on a foot pad at all. I accept a herniated disc in my back and tendonitis and joint pain and so I need to occasionally stand on the foot pad since the floor is cement. Merely management will tell you lot to exist out forepart at all times. And then maybe something can exist worked out with that. Out late at nighttime as a female by yourself pushing in carts and men flirting with you in the dark no protection! I have their favorite and certain colour's that move upwards quicker than someone who have been in that location longer and better performance what I am stating is what I've said back and observed that is why God bless me with another visitor that really appreciated me with no limits! I didn't leave the visitor Lowe's I left their management!

      in my store easy going managers. working part time the day and hours are random for sure. time off when needed is usually not a big deal you just gotten use the App to set that up in advance. We did a heighten.. a whole .20-22 cents hour.. a 3 billion profit company can but give a .22 hr raise.. should be a .75 at min twice a year. that how you keep skilful people by showing them you actually care near them not how much can they produce for you. Nosotros did go a bonus,, some got more than like 3-$500 or more than depending on status and length of employment. trouble is that get taxed at a college rate then most of it get nuked. (not their mistake).. would love to get stock options like in the ole days.. I would recommend lowes to a friend, over HD which pays LOWER, but not every bit a full time job.. if y'all are in school or just need a side hustle it works ok. in that location are folks that merely work weekends, or but work nights etc to work effectually other matter like schoolhouse or other jobs.

      So much pushing to get credit apps.. lots of online training wanted. AP4ME, Lowes University. Some of the stuff is good to know some is non related to my dept in tools. CEO seems squeamish, is a black guy in a high power office which is a good matter but uses religion to much for me.. Subsequently every video message he send out it closed with "god bless" to some that is encouraging to some it's fake, and to some it lame.. don't need to mix the two. show us, the employees, you care by higher pay.. the lesser line volition beloved it.
